Homemade cereal bars
Wholesome alternative to many packaged cereal and snacks bar often high in refined sugars and additives. Made with oats, nuts, apple puree and dark chocolate, they provide a good source of fibre, healthy fats and give your children natural energy to help keep the whole family fuller for longer! Perfect as an afternoon snack, lunchbox treat or healthier sweet option!
For approx. 12 bars:
Ingredients
150g of oats
120g apple puree
50g maple syrup
2 tbsp of nut butter
90g of mixed nuts
200g of dark chocolate
Mix all ingredients (oats, apple puree, maple syrup, nut butter, nuts), place in a rectangular loaf pan, and bake for 20 min (180), in the meantime melt the dark chocolate, add on top of mixture once finished cooking and place in the fridge for 1-2h then slice in bars.
